Trauma work is related to recent and past traumatic events
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful method of psychotherapy. To date, EMDR has helped an estimated two million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological distress. EMDR has been very successful in helping people who suffer from trauma, anxiety, panic, disturbing memories, post traumatic stress, and many other emotional problems. Until recently, these conditions were difficult and time-consuming to treat. EMDR is considered a breakthrough therapy because of its simplicity and the fact that it can bring quick and lasting relief for most types of emotional distress.
Through the techniques each therapist are trained in, we can help support your family members of any age with issues such as Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, Parenting, and/or anger management. Also, Family therapy session are available to manage family or couple in conflicts, such as divorce, blending families and marital issues.
The Defiant Child/Teen program provides an effective multi-step to support training parents in child/teen behavior management skills, child classes for ages 2 to 12 and teen classes for ages 13-18. Professionals will support the family with proven tools to help them understand the causes of noncompliant, defiant, oppositional, or socially hostile behavior at home or in school; take systematic steps to reduce it; and reinforce positive change .
The R.E.A.C.H program offers a comprehensive approach to supporting your family through high conflict divorce and/or family conflict. You will be able to partner with a trained professional to meet the requirements of your parenting time plan while addressing issues in the family that may be adversely affecting your child(ren). This includes: family assessment, goal setting, supervised parenting time, family therapy, and parenting/ co-parenting education.
